Castes
Pinalta Tinta Barroca was produced entirely from grapes of the Tinta Barroca variety. The vineyards are in Casal de Loivos, Alijó, and are of adult age, already in full production. Sun exposure is very favorable, and allows the fruits to ripen perfectly.

Vindima e Vinificação
The grapes were picked by hand, being destemmed and smashed gently on arrival at the winery. Vinification took place in shale mills, with foot treading and prolonged skin maceration, followed by partial fermentation in French oak barrels. PTB continued to evolve in barrels for 18 months, in order to include the most delicate characteristics of wine with those of oak wood.

Maturação e Guarda
Pinalta Tinta Barroca 2014 evolved in French oak and American oak barrels for 20 months, in order to keep the most delicate characteristics of the wine. Pinalta Tinta Barroca 2014 is a wine of superior quality that can be kept for several years. It should be kept lying down, in a cool and dry place.
